Do you get spam at your blog email address?

Published by linda at 2:02 am under blogging

When I created this blog, I created an ‘atLindas’ email address just for blogging. So, when I post at other people’s blogs, I add my name, blog url and the ‘atLindas’ email address.  You know… in the space where it says “will not be published.”

So… the only people that “have” my ‘atLindas’ email address are people whose blogs I’ve posted at.  I don’t use that email address anywhere else…. just to post to blogs.

I’m getting SPAM at that address. Makes you go hmmm…

What about you? Do you get spam at your blog email address? Do you think bloggers are sending spam?  Or how do spammers get the email address that I use nowhere BUT for posting to blogs? Curiosity and all that good stuff…

Yes, and they seem to know everything about me - even my anatomical shortcomings.

lol, Clark. They must be sending me the email meant for you, then… they keep offering me the ability to enlarge a part I don’t even have. Dummies.

So far, no spam… but I have a secondary email addy that I use when I order products and such.

Brahnamin gave me a very good idea for my photo blog. He told me to create a graphic with my email addy in it so it won’t get ‘phished’… While it makes people manually enter it, at least I don’t get any spam.

I’m getting so confuzzled. It’s making an echo sound of an AT-AT in the distance when I think of your name now.

If creating a brain stutter makes me easier to remember, I’ll take it. LOL.
