Are you a night owl or a morning person?
Call me crazy…. I love working at night. I do. It’s peaceful. No phones ringing. No telemarketers calling. It’s - peaceful - if that doesn’t sound too crazy.
Trouble is, I’m also a morning person. I love watching the sun come up. In the warm weather, I love sitting on the deck when the whole neighborhood is quiet. Just me and my coffee and the sun coming up.
The question is how to mesh the two. Or - more to the point - when to sleep? I’m not a fan of sleeping. Lots of time to sleep when I’m dead. Problem is, my body doesn’t agree. It wants a solid 5 hour sleep every 24 hours. I’m just not sure which 5 hours I’m willing to give up. lol
Did I mention I’m hyper? Did I need to? lol
How about you? Love sleeping? Hate it? Morning person? Night owl?

Love sleeping (Many years I had insomnia, but now that I sleep due to medication, I LOVE it)
Total Night Owl
I vote you sleep from 7pm to midnight. You could have your cake and eat it too.
See, now… that would work during part of the year. But it totally would not work during American Idol and Canadian Idol.
LOL
I’m definitely a morning person … 4:30 a.m. … the birds come to life….. my binocs are by my bed …. it’s light at 5am …. a bright new day….. but …just don’t like going to sleep either. So many things to fit into your life and not enough time for them all……zzzzzzzzzzz
Aussiebabe…. you, too? I love being awake when the birds start singing in the trees and the sun is coming up. It’s like they’re singing ‘wake up, wake up!’ And the bunnies and squirrels come out looking for breakfast. Love sitting and tossing peanuts to the little critters while I have my coffee.
But I love the night, too. When all the day creatures tuck in for the night and the first stars start to peek out.
I think I could happily give up the hours from 3:30 to 5:30 and sleep then… but it’s not enough. *sigh*
Pity we couldn’t just plug into a recharger. lol.
I am a bit of both (then I would be !!!
)
Get up at 6 ish…. work.. home…. and by the time I have my space it is late … sometimes after midnight to bed mostly 23.00 hrs
But if some one had told me before I had a child I could do this I would have laughed out loud .. I was always an 8 - 10 hours a night under my comfy duvet type of gal
