The Seven Things…
Keeping my promise to Brightfeather, 7 things you didn’t know about me;
- I have sewn (dance costumes) for the Olympics.
- My webdesign/graphics have been featured in The New York Times
- Oprah featured a book about Mom Entrepreneurs a few years ago; I’m one of the Moms in the book.
- The very first video I made got over 500 views at YouTube in 48 hours. (*squee*)
- I read almost 500 words per minute. (yes, my retention is excellent)
- I’m very allergic, so I prefer to make my own soap and skincare products instead of buying chemical packed stuff.
- I’m hyperactive. (could you tell?)

Wow! Thanks so much for sharing these seven things with me. You have such a range of talents. I’m impressed and somewhat humbled by your accomplishments.
I’m raising a toast to friendship. May your holiday season be happy and bright.
Hyperactive? really - my my my - family trait I suppose.
How right you are DP. Several of the other fraccy family members are totally hyper. It somehow escaped me though of course. I’m sure I don’t have to point that out to you though, since you know me so well and all.
Err… I think I cornered the market for being hyper among the fraccy siblings. I grew up to the tune of “Linda, can’t you SIT STILL?!?!?” But the next generation…. aiiieeee… it’s full of hyper. My own DD and lots of her cousins are all hyper. fraccy is completely right. it escaped her. she’s just quick on the draw, so it’s hard to tell the difference. but she’s nice and calm, while I’m a walking game of brain pong. lol
Awww, brightfeather, thank you. Those are just things I’ve done that most people wouldn’t know.
The real accomplishments in life are things so many people do without even thinking about it. Like, raising children to be self sufficient and caring adults… shouldering our responsibilities even when they feel too heavy to bear…. comforting another human even when we are aching inside ourselves. Those are life’s real accomplishments.
“The real accomplishments in life …”
I agree heartily with you.
