Blogger.com - the party crasher. *sigh*

So, there’s a New Years Party at Fuel My Blog’s blog.

Seeing as I like the folks there so much, that I even added a thank you to FMB in the credits of my firstest ever video…. I thought I’d pop in and say hello and Happy New Year.

But, it wasn’t to be. Blogger.com hates me. Or, hates my lack of a Blogger id, anyways.

I posted a message.  Chose wordpress from the dropdown.  See?

And then I got this message. But I WAS logged in.

So I thought I’d try a different method. I’d use “any” open ID. Nope. The bouncer at the door kicked me out again. Of all the ‘any’ id’s out there, apparently I’m the wrong one. *sigh*

And this didn’t work, either….

I tried every option in the dropdown menu. Except the one I don’t have. I didn’t put in a blogger.com id because I don’t have one.

Finally, I tried posting anonymously…. only to get a message that all anonymous comments are held for moderation. *sigh* So I gived up and went home.

Makes me wonder how many bloggers on blogger.com have seen their comments and traffic drop. I know that when I see a blog hosted on blogger.com, I don’t even try to post to it anymore. It’s an exercise in frustration.

To all my friends enjoying the party — I’m out here peeking through the window and the bouncer won’t let me in. Not much I can do about it since he’s a freaking 900 POUND GORILLA.

But…. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all you FMBers!!

P.S. You KNOW I’m going to come up with a solution for this, right? Give me a couple of days, I’m already on it like cheese on a baked potato.

    Linda, they’ve turned off moderation now, so you can hop over there and chat with the drunks lovely party-going folks. I warn you though… DP is wearing a kilt and making poo jokes about Penfold, John is spraying paint and talking about vampires and Olga is looking for a photocopier to make copies of her cups.

    In other words, just a regular day.
